The C.L.R. James Institute presents:
The Pequod Project

The unabridged re-publication of C.L.R. James's classic Mariners, Renegades and Castaways: The Story of Herman Melville and the World We Live In is a major event. We take this occasion to launch a new project, encouraging the exchange of ideas on James and Melville. Please send us your submissions, which we may add to the material listed below. Join us on a voyage of intellectual discovery, as individuals united, not as an organic collective or as representatives of diverse groups, but by the objective nature of the work we do. (R. Dumain)
